Wenzhou’s Prospects

Over the past two decades or so since the introduction of the reform and opening-up policies, Wenzhou has made a historic leap from poverty to having adequate food and clothing, and again to leading a well-off life. Setting out from the new historical starting point, the Tenth Congress of the Municipal Committee of the CPC put forward the objective of the “Third Leap Forward for Wenzhou,” i.e., from leading a well-off life to an all-round well-off life.
